You may need to come in for a few appointments between your impressions and your extractions. When you arrive for your extraction appointment, your denture will be there and ready to place.

Moreover, as your gums and jawbone shrink, it can become loose. As a result, you will need to have the denture relined several times before you completely heal. Some patients may even need to have a completely new denture made.
